I am sure she did. But you have to remember that she was totally despised by the left, who were really in the ascendency during her lifetime, and made it as difficult as possible for her.

The conservatives who understood her had no use for her either. The worst review of "Atlas Shrugged" ever done was written by Whittaker Chambers and published in "National Review."
