Hello Pezz, Yesterday Afternoon's Report: I checked out a fully decorated (decoration, furniture, wiring, lighting) office suite on the 28th floor of my office building that is for sale by the mortgage holding bank. The area is slightly larger than my own office, view is 5 floors better, decoration is considerably spiffier (hardwood floor and built-in furniture). The rental yield based on asking price is between 7-8%, the asking price is 30% of peak price (1997) and I can pay off in one wallop out of zero interest yielding bank account, or simply sign my name for another nothing % loan in any number of currencies, including the HKD.

If I did not know better, I would have guessed that the hurt is beginning to have its desired cleansing effect.

But, instead, my guess is that the hurt is now only causing vomiting, and not yet diarrhea, bleeding out of the nose and ears, and will increase in ferocity.

I also remember the object of the game, be the last man standing, sporting weapon with full clip of ammo, cloaked in invisibility shield over full body-cladding armor.

There will be plenty more bargains where they ultimately come from, namely the banks.

I will make a point with speaking to a banker this weekend, to get a glimpse of the hurt yet to be.

Chugs, Jay

Hello Pezz, Today's Report:

(a) Readied more readily available cash to buy the dip on paper gold by liquidating some skimpy-yielding time deposits;

(b) I sold half of my Pakistani Hub Power at 13.7 (pay no attention to stationary bloomberg quote), originally purchase noted here ... thus showing a 41% capital appreciation, plus 14.22% net dividend paid this past October, netting 55.22% of half the position and letting the other half of position ride. I am expecting another 14-15% dividend to be declared in February and paid in April, if the station is still standing at that time.

I am selling because Pakistan is Asia's best performing market for 2002, and thus probably not for 2003,

cbs.marketwatch.com

Unlikely as it seems, Pakistan was the Asia-Pacific region's best market performer in 2002. The key Pakistan Karachi Stock Exchange 100 Index soared 92 percent since the start of 2002 and is up 129 percent since Oct. 2, 2001. See full story

... and because enough is enough:0)

and here ...

Message 17742648

... my Hub Power (Pakistani power plant traded in London) got executed, as in bought, at USD 9.75 and below. I am now looking forward to increased WAT-WOT dividend payout over the coming 12 months of say around 30-40% yield. It will be a race against Axis of Evil and the Matrix of Doom, as in dividend recovery vs. capital wipeout, by lack of effective law, poor regulatory environment or nuclear winter

Hello Pezz, This Coming Friday's Report:

I expect my shorted NEM December Put 20 (0.86/shr premium) and Put 25 (1.84/shr premium) to expire worthless, allowing me to keep the undeserved premium first reached for here:

Message 17634613
June 21st, 2002
Hi Snowshoe, old habits ... just sold another batch of NEM puts (Dec 25) in my 3-year old pocket money earning program.
They are so risk free when compared to just about everything except, oh, oops, no, not quite, forget it (I wanted to say USD:0)

Hi Pezz, I shorted some NEM December 20 Puts last trading session. Off on trip. See you in a few days.

I cannot think of any other game that is simpler and easier:0)

Hello again Pezz, Tomorrow's Report:

I will sign for my tranche of expanded Lumacom share private placement mentioned here (yes, you should have bought when I first mentioned it) and arrange payment:

Hello Pezz, Yesterday's Report:
...Subscribed to private placement of expanded Lumacom ( finance.yahoo.com ) shares at 0.065/shr for a whole lot of shares, aiming for returns of 50% in the far distant future.
Time for swim.

I should be able to sell my shares within three weeks. It currently trades for 9.8 cents/shr, showing a 50% paper gain, and is heading for 12 cents/shr when I sell;0)

The company does this for a living:
lumacom.com.au
... and their sign board lights up in NY Times Square next March. The secret ingredient is what they can do in China.

I hope you will not accuse me of never speculating in baby cap shares:0)

Hello Pezz, Today's Bad News Report: This trade Message 18348022 did not get executed due to lack of ask/bid.

I have turned around and asked to buy some shares just to see if there will be sellers. I am asking 10.5/shr.

Today's Good News Report: I completed this trade Message 18348738 and treated the friend responsible for a USD 6 breakfast. The share is at 0.12/shr uk.finance.yahoo.com , almost twice what I am paying today, and will be available for sale into the market immediately after New Years :0)

I am advised to keep the shares for three months, and so I probably will, to fully exploit the potential for gain, and alas, extend the period of exposure to possible loss.

Good Evening Pezz, Tonight's Report:

(a) My staff invited me to lunch today at a nice little Italian place. The soup was delicious and pasta was fine.

(b) I invited my staff to reflexology, and that was heavenly.

(c) After arriving at home, I thought matters over for few fractions of a minute, decided to take action, sought further redemption and additional safety.

A few taps of the keyboard and four clicks on the mouse later, I moved a wallop of HKD into paper gold, and a few tranches of USD into Swiss Franc, Aussie Loonie, and Common Euro.

I now sit at the ready to do more rapid deployment, as Bernanke and Co. do more damage.

Hello Pezz, Today's Report:

(a) Light day at the office

(b) Watching Lumacom hit AUD 0.15/share Message 18352292 , an awesome 130% above my entry price

Not too bad for 6 days of doing absolutely nothing, or, rather, in Grace's language, putting money to work because I have to:0)

(c) Like Maestro Greenspan, I do not know when it is a bubble, and maybe not even after it blows up:0)

At current trading volume, it would take me a whole lot of days to trickle out my hoard of shares without materially affacting the bid/ask.

Why don't you jump in so that we can do business;0?

Hello Pezz, Today's Report: another light day at the office before embarking on journey to Beijing and Nanjing.

I am watching uk.finance.yahoo.com as it continues to head up, now at AUD 0.22/shr, since I last mentioned it Message 18357455 when it was at AUD 0.125 and purchased it here Message 18352292 and subscribed here Message 18348738 at AUD 0.065/shr.

The gains are getting weighty, and yet, I am not satisfied to sell, preferring to wait for it to breach AUD 1.00, maybe AUD 1.50, perhaps even AUD 2.00 ;0)
