You're really getting over to the absurd. What I've said is I don't believe that blacks were treated better under slavery than they are today. [That might take some minimal logic to figure out, but that's the point.]

CYBERKEN has said on two occasions [at a minimum] that blacks were treated better under slavery than the are today.

With that bit of clarification, who is it exactly that you agree with?

Forget about Dems - their leaders have people like Sen Byrd who was a KKK member. What irks me is that Trent Lott thinks that he feels very close to Jefferson Davis - who was the guy who Abe defeated in the Civil war. Now anybody who thinks that should not be a leader today let alone a senator imho.
