it's been my experience on si that most people who tout specific stocks without specific disclosure as to their position do so because they do not wish to "justify" a losing position. and of course there is no reason why anyone would have to do so. especially here. but at the same time it is simply disingenuous to focus at some length on a specific stock and not expect people to infer that you are long, while using a thread as a platform to tout a specific stock. webx was pitched out as an investment.., jorj gave his opinion of the stock based on his trading metric, tuck popped in to say he covered his short and i pointed to the webx thread as the place to further dissect whatever the merits of the company. one really needn't call people fools if they happen to disagree with a stock position.... there are stock specific threads for that kind of thing. <g>

Show me where I've responded to someone with name calling. I wasn't calling anyone a fool for disagreeing with me about WEBX. I think my responses to you and to Jori were entirely respectful though you obviously disagree with me. If you viewed them as disrespectful I think you might need to reread them with a more objective frame of mind. If you are referring to the "vixen" remark...I wouldn't consider that derogatory to someone who uses the "fox" name. I apologize if you were offended by the "breeding age female" but that wasn't about you, it was really about how men tend to act when they are trying to impress women. I think if the remark was made by someone you considered a friend, it wouldn't have offended you at all, you'd have found it humorous. but maybe you are people skill clueless and if you truly are, then take heed and change your style or few will listen to you I don't post to have people like me, I post because it helps me sort out what is or isn't pertinent to my investments. If you don't like my style, then perhaps you shouldn't respond to my posts.
