First, we can decide to view certain matters leniently, and an abortion resulting from rape is commonly one instance where few people are willing to come down hard on the woman seeking the abortion. Second, part of my reasoning about enforcing bringing the child to term involves the responsibility of the woman for running the risk of conception. Obviously, matters would be weighed differently if the sexual episode resulting in conception were forced on her.
