You are right about your statement that they didn't want see it built, but the main problem , more then arab nationalism is the muslim teaching : you have to convert the whole world to the only true fait: Islam, even by the sword. Don't forget that since its begging Islam was and is the most proselitist , expansionist and intolerant Religion, while Judeo-Christian civilization evolved with respect to life with Tolerance and acceptance of others into the 21 century Islam stayed in the 15 century radicalism with a cult to death and intolerance to others. While the west accepts new Muslim Minarets and muslim preachers, in the Islamic World they don't accept New Churches and they expel or condemn to death the non Muslim preachers Islam tried to convert Europe by the sword , in the west in Spain and in the east Bizancio-Constantinopla and later : Rumania, Hungary, Yugoslavia. even though they didn't succeed to take Europe they did leave a seed in the Balkans, and they WILL take Europe trough emigration and natality rate, once they become a big minority .............. They expanded to Africa, Indochina, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines etc., and still expanding, Lets Take Nigeria as an example of the Islamic Tolerance, not long ago it was mostly Christians , Islam eliminated Christians in Islamic Regions and Towns, expanded to neighboring Christian towns and from being a minority eliminated Christians and took over, today Nigeria is a Majority of Muslims and reducing other religions trough Death and fire and imposing the Sharia law on all. They will never accept to be ruled by non Muslims and they will never accept a Jewish or Christian state in the Middle East, they will rather be ruled by a muslim tiranyc leader and live in misery then have a democracy with a high standard of living but ruled by non Muslims or even by moderate non religious muslim. Show me one Muslim Country in the World with a Democracy ( Besides Turkey) or where a Leader-Overlord took over from another living Ruler. Show me one place with a Muslim strong Minority without a death toll caused by these minority. Bush is not crazy , he knows that we have to stop Islam from having the power to take over the world or destroy it. Dont forget that for the muslims the rest of the world is DAR-AL HARAB or : The House of War, to be taken by the Sword, and the only choice to be given to the non believers is CONVERSION or DEATH.
