Well, you have to admit that our discussion on the second amendment has been rather circular. People are just not going to agree on everything and some people do not agree on anything. I think it is important to be civil, however. Nevertheless I relish a good creative insult once in a while. I agree, including the part of a creative insult...assuming it's done in fun. Though the medium might preclude it being interpreted in fun. I think one of the major disadvantages of being a text medium, is the inability to see body language....you just can't see the little smirk that sometimes goes with the text. The other major disadvantage of the medium, is the tendency of people to abbreviate not only words but sentences and paragraphs assuming the person understands. Lots of mininterpretations on posts throughout SI. Though at times it may be intentional. jttmab
