And another thing that bothers me is if he did it to "commit suicide" as some are convinced, how did he know for sure the store owner or guard would shoot to kill him?

I used to be an armed guard and was a pretty good shot, and if and when my time ever came where I would have to shoot another human being, I would have tried my best not to kill the person if at all possible.... and of course that is not always possible..... As for the possibility of trying to put a scare into the owner, it's unlikely in my opinion, but possible..... When I was a kid, I will never forget the time my mother's "main squeeze" showed me a small handgun loaded with blanks, and said watch this. He then proceeded into the bar near his business, went up to some guy at the bar, and started shooting the gun full of blanks at the poor guy's legs! Needless to say, I was pretty shocked by that incident, not to mention the poor guy who thought he was going to die as he fell down screaming: "No, no! Please Charlie, no!!! This was over forty years ago, yet it still stands out in my mind as to how far some folks will go to "get even" with somebody or to show their warped sense of humor, even at the risk of getting shot themselves.

Jeane as i run this through my head i have to believe that Tim was keen enough to realize pointing a plastic gun(they can be very real looking in that situation) would be an act that was dangerous to the max, and if there was a security guard stationed in the store as reported, it would have been virtually suicidal.
Anyone who has lived in a big city knows you don't do such a thing.
The one report said there would be further investigation, but nothing ever appeared regards that happening.
I think anyone that understands guns and that situation realizes what i am saying--- if Tim actually pointed a plastic gun he knew the potential result of such an action; had to, no question. Paxmax

yeah right, how long have you known him... i knew the guy from the wild and woolly days of the late 90's...he was a punk then...a real wacko when it came to making threats, another dime a dozen"internet tough guy"...i can only assume he became worse as he lost his ass in the bear market...id guess he was depressed about losing his ass and got yoked up on a little dope, a little coke, a little smack, a little crack ect ect(probably a nice drug cocktail) that morning of the crime...the one post i remember best by tim was a claim he had some tens of thousands of people who followed him for his extraordinary trading skills...LOL...gotta love it
