That's a great thing to hear, Scott. I love our Golden. He's so loyal, such a sweetheart. He really has no clue that he weighs a hundred pounds and tries to sit on my husband's lap. I think that owning pets keeps us honest in some way. How can we help but be touched by their devotion. How could we not reciprocate it? We also have a pit bull, who we adopted as a puppy. Sally is my favorite dog: so funny and intensely loving. Unfortunately, they've had such bad press lately that we have to keep her home most of the time, as people get frightened when they see her. But I don't think it's any loss to her. She likes being home with me. She's sleeping next to me in a patch of sunlight right now. Yipping in a dream.
