Of course I figured it out. It is you who seems to have developed a comprehension problem caused by an emotional response to someone pointing out the flaw in your position. I had challenged Poet on whether the comments could be compared. I know that you are no fan of Clinton's and would not protect him if you felt the remarks were comparable. Your explanation of Clinton is a reasonable one. I think Lott showing remarkable ineptitude backed into his mess without thinking and really even more amazing, as he stood in front of a stunned audience he did not have the good sense to immediately start back peddling fast and furiously. * * *
