Another study, of Mount Rainier glaciers, shows that most major glaciers except Nisqually Glacier became smaller during an 80-year period.

I have heard speculation that the loss of so much weight from the top of Mt.Rainier or other volcanoes may allow for pent up massive eruptions to occur in the near future.
