here's the deal Neo, imo with friends, people you know, you can gauge them and the relationship - you can tease them and they you - you know what works and what doesn't - what sits well and what can be offensive you are on firmer ground because you know the reaction, what they say back to you, if they tease you, the little nuances of face reading, eyes tell so much and that is completely different than throwing out in public a ethnic slur I am Hungarian heritage and my family calls me the gypsy cause I love to go barefoot - but publicly post that all Hungarians are gypsies and it takes on a completely different incantation
