Gee.

I haven't been to any of your All America spectacles.

I haven't been to any of your natural attractions.

I've spent two days in SF for a job interview, part of a day in Chicago during a seminar held outside the city (we went in to spend a few hours in a nationally recognized MRI research facility),. three days in New Orleans during a conference. But I have spent a lot of time in NYW. Whew, I'm not batting QUITE zero!!

I think everyone should attend the Mardi Gras,

I attended the first Super Bowl the Giants played in. It was held in the Rose Bowl, so I sort of got a twofer. I had always said, like Chris, that you can see the game better on TV, and you can, but I'm so glad I went that one time. It cost a fortune what with scalped tickets, last minute plane fares, and jacked-up hotel prices, but my memory of it is still both vivid and warm. I'm so very glad I went. There's no need to go every year, but once or twice in a lifetime for these special events is a good thing, IMO.

To your lists I would add Monterray, the Big Island, Washington, and Fourth of July on the Mall--but delete Chicago. I have been to Chicago several times and it seems nice, but ordinary, to me.
