You cut that too short:
But school administrators said they received complaints from other students' parents. And the administrators, like many across the country, are still on edge since the Columbine High School shooting rampage near Denver in April 1999.

So administrators took seriously Web site passages such as: "Stab someone for no reason then set them on fire, throw them off of a cliff, watch them suffer and with their last breath, just before everything goes black, spit on their face. Killing people is wrong, don't do It. Unless I am there to watch. -- Or just go to Detroit."

A better question is "Is there anyone in there with any judgement and brains?" I'd give the school administrators the benefit of the doubt; that's it.

I think one of the problems plaguing American schools now is the loss of disciplinary authority by teachers, principal, and school boards. Now it's in the hands off our creaky, quirky legal system and we know how well and how fast that works.

How is the English system in this regard?
