Our current unifying president, has accomplished such polarization of the political parties that I think one would have to go back to the Viet Nam War era to find a comparison.
Saw on the news yesterday that something like 29 of 32 countries that track American sentiment, have seen declines in the prestige of American influence.

The Democrats are just as guilty (if not more so) as the Republicans of slandering their opponents. Until you are willing to admit and discuss that fact you aren't considered serious.
