I went this evening, wearing leather underwear underneath, tough denim and good wool over such, carrying a peevee, a canthook, (just in case) whatever,to the dregs of SI society, The Bush thread.. And I read such terrible statements about Patty Murray, a wonderful and thoughtful person, a gentle woman, that only wants to try to understand the other side... God help us when those that profess to be Americans do not want to hear another view point.. I am so proud to come from the State that sent Ms. Murray to the U.S. senate. I often wish that a western Liberal could run for President, rather than a southern ?... an Eastern ?.. from the Democrat side.. I am sick and tired of southern and eastern men, both, dems and repugs running for the President.. Maybe the time has come for Ms Murray and Ms Pelosi to give it a try.. They will do a helluva better than the current Admin will, IMO.. Less war, more peace, more social and economic justice... JMO... c
