It certainly wasn't "infinite". Skip the frivolous stuff. The whistleblower agent with the "Pheonix memo" described the roadblocks deliberately put in their path. Another was told to stand down on OBL. And this was after Tenet proclaimed OBL as the "most wanted", and advised the incoming administration as such. There can be absolutely no excuse for those actions. And no excuse for not having had an immediate investigation empowered to bring on the carpet those responsible, with criminal penalties for those culpable, and disciplinary penalties for those who delay in responding or who proffer the kinds of mealy excuses we've been hearing. The executive branch that allows that sort of egregious criminal negligence (or simply criminal action) and "passes the buck" should in turn be removed for failing to act. The least to be done is requirement to answer the "unanswered questions" in a prior post. Hopefully, top gov't officials aren't lying to us. That would be bad.
