Dear ET: I would remind you that when Bush was running for office he noted the economy was getting weak. He was severely criticized for "talking down" the economy. Turned out he was absolutely correct. The worst numbers came EARLY in his Presidency. The tax cut tended to ease the "recession", and while the economy is nothing to brag about, its NOT in a recession. (Although my portfolio is). I also feel its only fair to point out that DASCHOLE did everything he could to BLOCK any moves to improve the economy hoping to gain DEMOCRAT VOTES. Its for that reason I consider DASHOLE and HIS ILK, TRAITORS to the USA and to YOU AND ME. jdn

The Clinton tax gouge of 1993 brought about the deflationary Clinton recession. We are still fighting to get out of it, and only George Bush stands a chance of saving us from the disaster of the Clinton occupation of the executive branch for the 8-year nightmare...
