So, if between now and March the DOW falls to 5000 you will still maintain that it is Clinton's fault? When does responsibility for the economy's performance begin to rest on the president's shoulders? Give me a date, and I'll bookmark it and we can talk about it then. It seems the right wants to take credit for the booming economy in the 90s and blame the weak performance in the 2000's on the left.

JDN, The worst numbers are just arriving. Take a look at those budget deficits figures for October and November. Those deficits are getting bigger every month. There will be even larger deficits for December and January. We may be looking at the largest budget deficit in history for the year of 03. Interest rates and inflation will go up. If the jobless recovery continues, Bush could be in trouble in 04.
