Ah trying to cast it in terms of anti-semitism. Won't work with me. I would say the same about supporting any country, when the support endangered our own country. I don't care who lives there- Jews, Christians, or even agnostics. If supporting their country endangers my own, then the support is foolish. That is not to say I do not think the world has a duty to protect the borders of Israel in the same way we protected Kuwait (although deciding just where those borders should be could be a problem), because I think they should get equal protection under international law. I don't CARE if the problem is the preception of those other countries, Practically it is OUR problem that it is their problem. Wringing your hands about whose "fault" it is doesn't fix it. Practically speaking, our support for Israel endangers us.
