I've never used objective C, but several of my friends showed me projects written on it. I've written a lot of code in Unix and C, but mostly in the back end, not the GUI part. Having said that:

Huh? The rich edit control in MFC supports this. I think if you have a look at what MFC is today (not what it was five years ago) you'll see exactly what I said in my previous posting. The gap between objective C and the Visual C++ MFC classes has narrowed dramatically.
