I doubt that opposition to the US Iraq policy is as high as Gelb says. He's talking about his audiences, which are, obviously, extremely selective.

I agree. More to the point, so does Gallup ;-). I heard Bill Kristol talk at the Kennedy School about a month ago. He took a show of hands on the War in Iraq. The result was about two-thirds against, one-third for.
