That's a telling mainstream article. And no one can point to ANY of the Patriot Act / Homeland Defense actions and expenses that would have helped prevent 9/11.

Every increase in funding of the military/industrial combine clearly decreases national security, while increasing the wealth of the insiders. "The US is in an arms race with itself".
