I don't think either, that we are losing in any of the two fronts, but it is a matter of time and how many life's are going to be lost or ruined because of those two Megalomaniacs

Happily the Bush's foresaw since the beginning the danger Sadam H. represented to the World , we should respect Juniors character and determination in stooping this possible Armageddon , Bush should be Times Man of the year.

Personally I am worried about the outcome of a war in Iraq, in the south you have the Shiites who might ally with Iran, in the North you have the Curds who might undermine Turkeys stability and moderate, western style and lay governament,.The worst scenario I see is a resurge of Teocrats and fundamentalist in the whole region . But right now there is nothing worse then WMD in the hands of Sadam Husein, so lets hope for the best.

In the Venezuelan case we have another guy who doesn't care about his his people wish or are hungry, he cares only about Power .
In Iraq we are hoping and even asking for the Iraqi people or army to overthrow Sadam with the Worlds blessing, but there is nobody in Iraq that can do that. In the Venezuelan case , if Chavez doesn't step down or accept Elections , we shouldn't tie the Armies hands with the Democratic Rules, because we might find ourselves that there is nobody left to stop Chavez.

I insist that we need clear signs to Chavez: "" Accept the peoples will or face the army with our blessing."" lets not wait and need to spill American blood and billions in costs of putting things back in place.

I do have to recognize that Chavez did something good for Venezuela. He Unified the civil society, the strenght of the disobidience is not in the Politician leadership but it is in the Peoples will, it is allready 3 weeks of Srikes, Lockouts , Civil Disobidience and going true a lot of hardship, most of the Discos and Restorants are closed and the population is on the streets in a very civic and joyfull mood. Before Chavez the silent majority used to stay home or have fun letting politicians do their own. absentis to the ballots used to be between 30 to 45 % , in the last two weeks we had a record suscription for voting ID of more then 2 million new voters , and we expevct that more then 90 % of voters will vote. Chavez pushed us one more step away from the thirdworld.
