When has Sprint targeted to deploy Release A? That should draw a sharper contrast between what Sprint is doing and what AWE, Cingular, etc. are not. Release A was scheduled as follows, from my Spring 2002 notes: ------ * While on standards, I also pursued Release A. They didn't seem to think there was any problem here either(I did just read a few posts on Mod about the synch channel issue), and expect chipsets by EOY 02, handsets early 03, and deployment nationwide in 03. ----- They have been very quiet about it lately, and they have not responded to my inquiries about progress and/or current plans. I did note they plan on having video clips available later in 2003, as of their 12/12/02 Investor Conference. Cooters
