I am sure that's what Bush had in mind when he uttered the words. The welfare of the poor oppressed Iranian people. Why don't the Palestinians deserve the same consideration, me wonders.

Why do you doubt Bush's sincerity with respect to these people who are under the control of the most brutal dictators in the world? There has certainly been nothing in his history to indicate a lack of sincerity.

Strange considering that we could change their lot in life more easily than that of the Iranians

This is ridiculous. There isn't a damned thing we can do about the plight of the Palestinians. They are going to fight with the Jews over that god forsaken strip of land for the rest of your life and mine. Period.

The Palestinians are never going to make progress so long as they are using terrorist attacks on innocents as a tactic -- nor should they.

It would be counterproductive for Bush to support ANY concession for the Palestinians so long as they are killing innocent Israelis. Concessions must be off the table until the Palestinians stop the violence.

"Iran’s inclusion in Bush’s much-misunderstood “axis of evil” is a step forward for Iranian people everywhere, except of course, the religious oppressors in Tehran. It’s a battle cry for help; it’s a cry for long-overdue action on America’s end."

I am sure that's what Bush had in mind when he uttered the words. The welfare of the poor oppressed Iranian people. Why don't the Palestinians deserve the same consideration, me wonders.

Because there has been no "battle cry for help" from the Palestinians; at least I haven't heard one, have you?

If there had been a "battle cry for help", I am sure we would have screwed over the Israelis and gone to the aid of the Palestinian people. Its that "battle cry for help" that's key!!
