I have sent Dave several PM's but guess he is too buzy to answer right now. I want him to have another contest starting two weeks after the year begins. This allows everyone a chance to pick one or two stocks. Contest to last the qtr. Stocks to be five bucks or above. All contestants must go long. Have nothing against shorts, but SI portfolio does not track them correctly and it takes the scorekeeper too long to stop and figure. I want the contest to be open to all who would like to enter and not be restricted to just 30. With everyone going one or two stocks long makes it even for everyone and also makes it easier for the scorekeeper to handle maybe 100 contestants. Takes me about 1 min per person. 60 contestants one hour. If it gets to be too much I will post only on Wed and weekends but will try to make it every day. The contest lasting a QTR will be almost investing. No closing out of any stocks during the contest. You live with what ya pick. Contest must be kept simple in order to handle 100 entries.The money the same, 10k on one stock or 5k one each of two stocks. Contestants should enter their picks to Dave on line here so we can all see who is picking what stock. If some one has picked a stock you like some might want to pick a different one. Don't want to have two winners both having picked the same one stock. With 100 entries and 10,000 stocks there are plenty to choose from. No otc BB allowed. Don't want dogs with fleas.
