I did think his remark concerning Carter made some sense. If he could get Carter to go over and buy some time, that would not be a bad idea. Of course, the concern would be that Carter would cut some kind of asinine deal like the one he made before.

Bush better get someone who knows foreign policy.....and very soon. Colin Powell can't continue to carry the load for this administration.
