Again, you have dodged the question (the one thing you seem to get right time and time again). I personally believe we can still handle two major theater wars at once.
Prior to the Gulf War, our military was able to handle two major theater wars at once as well as numerous minor skirmishes at the same time.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR MILITARY OVER THE LAST TEN YEARS THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO MANAGE WARS IN THESE TWO THEATERS AT ONE TIME?"

You haven't answer the question. Did Clinton gut our military in an effort to create a bogus good economy?

Yes...that's it. Clinton gutted the military to create 8 years of unprecedented prosperity, relative peace, lowest crime rate in memory, lowest unemployment ever, a balanced budget with supluses, balance between business and care for the environment and more.

All things Bush has managed to reverse and replace with stagnation, unemployment, higher crime, deficits, and wars...in less than two years. And you are worried wether we can fight two or three wars at once. You head is in the wrong part of your anatomy.

Al

Clinton gave us the best economy ever and it wasn't "bogus". As we have now found out in Iraq, the ten years of military prep have made us the greatest army in history. But it didn't happen overnight. It happened all through-out the Clinton years as well as the last few. Our precision-guided weapons alone advanced 1000% since Bush Sr. was in power. And every since Somalia, the military has been training to overcome flaws in urban warfare strategy. The advances never stopped, and Gore's military budget was bigger than Bush's in 2000, remember? Time to put that mythical "Clinton gutted the military" lie to bed for good. It was just something they thought up at Bush-Cheney campaign HQ. Sounded good anyway.
