Amateur Investors Weekend Market Analysis:

Meanwhile the chart of the Semiconductor Index (SOX) looks to be forming a mini Head and Shoulders (points M and N) Top pattern which isn't a good sign. If the SOX can't hold support at its 61.8% retracement level near 280 then a retest of the early October low near 210 (point O) will probably occur and may take the rest of the market with it.

Mike, today, my indicators issued a "run to the hills signal, originally, I thought we may have a run from the 90 to the 370 area on the Sox, but I fear we had most of what we are going to get here at 335, CYMI did much better (percentagewise) than CCMP but both were pretty good runs. It is quite possible that today's signal will be reversed, since some of the internals are better than others, but right now, Capital Preservation "pricinples" required raising cash heavily.
