if this weren't such a bad recession year in Silicon Valley I would say this weather would have caused a few fatal accidents by now.

There is so much water on the roads people really shouldn't be driving unless you have an SUV. My BMW can't get any traction. Fortunately recession means not many on the roads.

another topic, I didn't know so many were from California on SI. I wonder what the hell Davis is going to do. Not a good feeling having such a dufus in the governors office for this calamity. Apparently Davis was on Kudlow and Cramer (I missed the show) and he said in 2001 25% of taxes paid were capital gains and stock related.
