remember that S/W may be doing well right now, but that doesn't mean that they will be doing well in 6months. I'd rather be negative something that looks like it is falling into a chasm though, vs. something that looks like it is crawling out. You may be right in that a declining tide sinks all boats, but why take the chance? We know retailers are going to have difficulty. Video gamers are seasonal.... etc. etc. For a software company like beas that puts up 50 jobs on monster on Dec. 23, I'd rather wait and see where the mkt takes him and buy in long. Just for the record I doubt beas hits 4.50 unless we see naz 700 in a sharp correction. (related post to you on cisco thread) Message 18378005
