By the way, what IS your reason? I answered it. We are defending the correct interpretation of the 2nd. I posted 4 full posts of Madison's explanation of the Bill of Rights. I've pointed you in the direction of Madison's emphasis on social compact as it relates to the Bill of Rights. I've explained why the State Constitutions are not "precedent" for the 2nd. I've pointed out that US v. Miller defines weapons that are "protected" under the 2nd are those that have military use. I've even tried the Socratic method and asked for any plausible reason why the NRA has not challenged the Constitutionality of the DC handguns ban. Which would be blatantly un-Constitutional if the 2nd was in individual right. And what have I seen as counter arguments? Your mother wears Army boots jttmab
