Get into the minds of N. Koreans. When do they threaten?
After they're called "evil" by Bush (provoking them) and after the recent Bond film made them look even worse. They need to be handled with kid gloves, a carrot and a stick. But not just a stick. They're starving anyway. So they don't have as much to lose by attacking S. Korea as most peoples. They want American dialogue. Why not give it to them? Easier to discipline them when they need you to eat.
John Kerry is the foremost expert on N. Korea in the Senate. If he were president we wouldn't have this current problem I'm sure.
