QGX-v...in the news: QGX 2.78-million-share private placement Mon 27 Jan 2003 Private Placement The TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing documentation with respect to a brokered private placement announced Dec. 18, 2002. No. of shares: 2,780,800 shares Purchase price: $1.15 per share Agents: Octagon Capital Corp., McFarlane Gordon Inc. and Lightyear Capital Inc. (collectively, the underwriters) Commission: 7 per cent cash Agents' option: The underwriters will receive compensation warrants in an amount equal to 10 per cent of the number of common shares purchased pursuant to this offering. These warrants are exercisable at any time for a period of up to 18 months following the closing of the private placement and entitle the holder thereof to acquire one common share of the company at an exercise price of $1.15 per share.
