I'm using the New Coke interface (it grew on me pretty quickly) and don't recall seeing a search link in a profile just now, but that doesn't mean it never existed. Oftentimes, if someone will have an old URL for such things, the URL will still work. Speaking for myself and very likely for SI's programmers and most other programmers, if I remove a feature, I only remove the links to it and the routine itself still exists if you know the URL. *ROSARIO*Member 4245200 The first and only account I'd terminated that the legal department told me I must reinstate and I had to admit they were right. As they opined, and I agreed, he'd hang himself in due time anyway, but the reason I'd used for the termination didn't hold water. Specifically, I terminated his account for spamming members via email, but when pressed for proof, I couldn't find it. I had anecdotal "evidence" of it, and agreed I really jumped the gun on that one. An easy guy to hate. Very blatant about the buy, pump, sell, bash routine. He could run through the whole cycle twice in one week on one ticker. Nothing but manipulation. Yes, Pugs got a LOT more interesting once he was evicted to RB. I'm a semi-favorite target of his. He apparently thinks I was part of or the head of a shorting conspiracy targeting RMIL and AZNT. He's publicly called me everything from a short-seller (I was, but not stocks discussed here -- I preferred to short solid companies who'd simply run outside their normal trading ranges, SRE being my favorite) to a terrorist and has even tried for a specious 9/11 connection. There was even an incident in which he accused me of calling his new, unlisted phone number and hanging up. The exchange was hilarious. In one of those twilight-zone-like coincidences, the non-existent areacode/exchange he claimed showed up on his callerID also called my cell phone just a week later, and like the number that showed up on his, the number on mine, when I tried to return the call, was not a working number. Spooky. Riley G wasn't as full of pure evil as Pugs. I nominate him because the whole thing about being a psychic just cracked me up. And though not as outwardly malevolent as Pugs, he led a lot of people to financial slaughter. Spamo Profundo is a no-brainer nomination. Biggest spam campaign ever launched on SI. Hundreds of posts between 3 accounts. Touting some penny stock. I wrote a PERL script to zap his posts before the open (after changing his name appropriately) and due to that and the overall sharpness of this community, his attempts at driving volume into the touted stock failed utterly. I don't even remember the names of any of the Rocketeers, but when they were met with warnings and suspensions for lashing out vitriolicly at critics of their stock (DGIV?), they quickly started a "competing" website which just as quickly went away, along with their beloved stock's market cap. Ahhh, memories.
