Depends on your time horizon.

Tech in general was at much lower valuations in the mid 80's and also in the mid 90's. Microsoft was at a teen multiple in the mid 80's and Intel was at a single digit multiple. A company like DEC was below book value.

The companies that you cite have such a short trading history that your data set is too small.
