le86: Are the big U.S. oil companies behind the strike in Venezuela...? This poster thinks so...

I'm not so sure Bush and Cheney would want oil prices to get too high (since it could destabilize an already fragile U.S. economy and interfere with the potential invasion of Iraq).

Yes, a Fiesta classic, Dustbin!

Best of all time? I don't know. That Bernie Kosar/Hurricane victory over Nebraska in the Orange Bowl in the early 1980's was a humdinger. Gary Beban/UCLA's upset of Michigan State in the Rose Bowl in the late 1960's rocked. Dan Marino/Pitt's awesome victory over Georgia in the Sugar Bowl in the early 1980's was electric.

College football has a glittering history. A glorious chapter was added to it this evening.

great great game, so many memorable big plays
outstanding offense by Miami, outstanding defense by Miami
truly awesome and vicious hitting defense by Ohio State
it came down to big plays and turnovers

fitting end of game with Dorsey tossed like a rag doll
and OHIO STATE defense on the field
