Another fact of life: Thread headers change. The 1st header is an attempt at what the moderator has in mind. It often turns out they don't really represent that and they are changed to more closely achieve the moderator's goal. Sometimes they go through multiple revisions. And often the impetus for the change is the appearance of a poster who the moderator feels is not appropriate, but who slips through some crack in the current header. And even a certain lack of sensitivity on the other side. Sensitivity has always been in very short supply on this thread. Yes but I did meet the qualifications and I was banned. Here's LWP's original header: This thread is a place for friendly exchanges between posters of more liberal political stances (or those who are tolerant of them). Market talk, jokes, and food raves are also encouraged. The thread moderator will give disruptive posters one warning before they are blocked. I say you fail. You are not on the liberal side, nor are you tolerant of it. No warning? OK, you've got a bitch there. I got a warning via PM. My reply is unprintable. I was banned. Mr. Allen was also banned for asking a question So what? You've never seen a hostile question? Find 3 questions on this thread; I bet 2 of them are hostile. And the thread by content and rest of the current header is a restricted place where any ridicule of the President is allowed and I'd suggest a case could be made that it is even encouraged. And that is true. Not as bad as the Jackass Stable, but true nonetheless. But what would you expect on a liberal thread? Praise of GWB? How much praise of Slick Willie did you see on RWET when he was President? Clearly poet's idea of a liberal includes the action of a liar and a hypocrite. She violated the warning rule. I give you that. Am I free to express my opinion on what poet's action clearly demonstrate. Certainly. This is not a moderated thread. Within the TOU, free speech prevails. I seek and the door remains closed. So I knock again and again and again. And it fairly quickly became clear you would not get an answer. Continuing beyond that point becomes simple harassment. Not that most of us have never done that. But to me RWE has meant and represented extreme evil. I think that you will find that those who are truly RWE are shown the door. The name came from a time when claiming that, say, Slick boinked Monica made you an extremist in leftie loonie eyes.
