Ted Re...With Bosnia, Kosovo et al, our NATO allies felt threatened. They saw the conflict there was destabilizing the region and could threaten all of Eastern Europe.

With Iraq, our closest relationships [I refrain from calling them allies since I don't think they are in any sense of the word] do not feel that Saddam presents a threat and have said so publicly.


You really have a lot of nerve to to me that Yugoslavia presented a greater threat to Germany or France, than Saddam presents to SA Kuwait or Israel. How many Hesbollah bombers did Milosevic hire to bomb the children in Germany? How many of his neighbors did Milosevic invade, and how many times did he gas his own citizens. Link please.
