Daschle is not a leftist. He's a moderate. He would never win in a conservative state like SD if he were a leftist. He's only a leftist compared to the far right.

Am about 400 posts behind now, but will be interesting to see if the Dems here on SI are bashing Bush before he gives his financial stimulus program....

Isn't it interesting...on one hand...the Dems/Leftists blame Bush falsely for the economic woes of the country...
and
then they bash him for suggesting a program designed to help business as well as employees become economically viable again...

They are simply a m a z i n g ....and not in a good way.
