I wonder if Houston's current energy investors are just using this spectacle as a means of putting a positive spin on their sector outlook.

Power trading will never live up to its initial shine.

Prilosec has seen its acid-pump inhibitor set new sales records in Houston, Tulsa, and Charlotte NC.

I am currently cleaning the house as about 10 friends and neighbors and I are making a superbowl event out of the docudrama "The Crooked E" debuting about 5 hours from now.

California needed a specialist who could make us understand back in 1997 why the energy companies were begging for deregulation. We needed to be aware of their overextended financial situation building all those new plants.

Policies are in place. Jay Leno has moved on to other jokes. Bankruptcy and prison terms are imminent. I don't think there is much left for the PUC except to serve subpoenas.

If I were up for the job, I'd run away screaming from this opportunity just to keep my name off of the headlines.
