Thanks, that's a break. It'll be interesting to see if it includes the other anomalies, such as Rumsfeld going against established procedure by not going to the Situation Room but staying in his office "to make some phone calls", or the phenomenal coincidence of a "drill" scheduled for the same day of an attack on Washington. The "drill" would be convenient firewall for a limited hangout, if it weren't for so many other misfitting facts.

It may be that if such an attack were in fact orchestrated, which considering the armaments surrounding the WH and Pentagon is hard to dismiss, it could have been a variation on the "Project Northwoods", but instead of JCS vs Exec Branch, it's the reverse, the Exec Branch insiders and Bush-related CIA including Rumsfeld (also said to be "the most ruthless man I ever met" by war-criminal Kissinger) vs the rest of DOD. One conspiratorial wag guesses the attack was a warning to DOD laggards, "you're either with us, or your dead". My guess is if there is a conspiracy, that would be a message they would want to get out quickly. Nothing like a little death threat to convince people to keep quiet.

If the book gets airplay, whether or not there was complicity, we can expect some major, very tricky counter-propaganda "backstories" to be issued, considering the panic the administration has shown towards releasing or allowing investigation of any sort.

Why only the French?

The French "Forbidden Truth" is thorough in some of the extensive business ties including the current head of the 9/11 investigation, but oddly seems to go out of its way to protect the CIA. It nevertheless documents some of the extensive connections among the mercenary M.E. states beholden to the US establishment.

That's consistent with Chomsky's "Understanding Power", in the first few pages, documenting the change in the US from direct overt military action under JFK to covert Reagan action through what he calls extensive "mercenary terrorist states" to do the dirty work decided upon by the insiders. It's pretty clear how those policies arrived at 9/11, and that that issue is avoided like the plague by the media.

Between that, and Brzezinski's "Grand Chessboard", you can get a clear, overt view of what the thinking is. Too bad these geopolitical gameplayers don't include the American citizens who pay for it all in blood and money, never mind the rest of the planet.
