LarsA - If coverage is your only concern then Verizon will give you better coverage in rural areas because of its 800 mhz frequency and legacy network. If 99% of your calls are in cities and small towns, and you want some extra features like handside web access, interet connection, all at a good price, Sprint wins. I'm sure similar comparisons could be made in the TDMA/GSM side with ATT wireless and T-Mobile but I think the coverage issues are cropping up on the TDMA side as they try their migration so now coverage is bad for Cingular and ATT wireless due to the migration, and it is bad for T-Mobile for some of the same reasons it is not so good at Sprint. Probably CR report doesn't talk about any of this though or even know what questions to ask to get the responses.
