Tom, you wrote "If 99% of your calls are in cities and small towns, and you want some extra features like handside web access, interet connection, all at a good price, Sprint wins." - well that's not what CR tells you - Sprint is last even in the big cities they studied. AT&T, Nextel, T-Mobile, Cingular did better in their "big picture"
If you have problems with No service", Dropped calls, Static, Circuits full - you can't enjoy what you called "web access, interet connection, all at a good price"
Can you?

Lars
