As usual you don't have the brains to grasp the simplest of concepts. <<why should low income people even waste the time filing? >> LOL... Duh.. It's called paying one's old way...Self respect is hard to come by without it. Making 50K and accepting all that the country offers but contributing nothing would spell leach, bloodsucker,parisite etc.Everyone who found him/herself in sucha situation would feel it. <<Why, it's the same now... it's called 'Rich' and 'Poor'.>> I like to think that most welfare recipients today would like to get off the dole and experience the self respect that comes with paying one's own way. Anyway those on the dole that I know of did feel pride when they began paying their own way. I suppose you think that those paying and those not paying would have (or should have) the same interest in how our government spends it's money .. I don't. I have no qualms about progressive taxes.But everyone should have a stake in government. Everyone should pay enough that they have an interest in how it's spent.Even those with the lowest income should pay a dollar.It makes them a part of the whole. I hesitated in replying as now I will have to live through your endless double talking responses...<sigh> I know ya won't disappoint.
