Yeah, right after those international authorities punish our enemy for butchering 3,000 Americans.

The daffy right? You must mean radical Islam.

And, despite obstruction from the daffy left, peace through strength was how the Cold War was won. Peace through appeasement has never worked in the history of mankind.

Isn't "peace through strength" what Saddam imposed when he held the Kurds in check? In my view, there's no such thing as "peace through strength" unless one believes the bully should be embedded into fairy tale consciousness.
