I give her credit for the research she does And I always thought she was a he....<gg> I beg to differ on the "research." Never a link, opinion always stated as fact. It's not easy to be open about being a Democrat, a liberal, etc. on SI these days I will beg to differ here also. If one backs up their statements with fact, and can debate logically, they earn my respect. Most who post here don't do that. I agree 100% that a President really has no control over the economy. Everyone knows about economic cycles. You see, I am conservative. I used to call myself a Republican, that's my party affiliation. But I'm tired of both parties and their addiction to spending. So I need a new party, something along the lines of the Constitution Party. Regards, BobP

Those who are willing to post on the GWB about politics and can restrain themselves from epithets earn my ear. I listen to people like Neo, goldworldnet, American Spirit, and JXM more than to those who make post after post attacking a speaker. So am I, when people stick to facts and acknoweldge that they are posting opinions, not fact. ASs is in total denial of reality. Duray is an obvious nutcase. They do not merit substantive responses, IMO. JLA

What's the use of taking a position, and sticking to it, when it is clearly incorrect? A claim was made, and it proven false from Official Government Statistics, and a economic organization that actually officially decides when recessions begin and end. Did you know, that American Spirit has also informed me that I shouldn't use the word "segregated" as "There is no such thing as a segregated city in the US. There are ethnic neighborhoods but they are not forced to be segregated."
