<Much (but not all) of the survival benefit is gone.> The data trended badly. How much of that is real and how much is noise* will take time to sort out. For now the view that there is a mortality benefit is still viable but with much weaker data. (Still P=.02 on the FVC55 grouping.) ij * I love to play backgammon.
