4 gig microdrive

Will be interesting to see the price tag. At present I don't really see a pressing need for it, even by pros. I have four 512 MB cards and that's plenty for me, even if/when I upgrade to more megapixels. Could have had two 1 gig cards but chose not to -- price too high and makes for too many eggs in one basket, if you know what I mean. And I prefer solid state. Never liked the idea of the microdrive -- seems more fragile to me.

Compact flash failure.

Has anyone experienced it? Any particular brand? My gal Keri just has. Her Lexar 1GB 16x is nothing but trouble. Forces reformats, comes up with "?" files, etc. Tried it in three camera bodies, problems in each. Never seen any trouble at all with my Transcend 512MB cards (knocking on wood). You with yours?
